For this expansive project, our client selected Classic Cross Cut Travertine, a material renowned for its soft beige tones and durable structure, perfectly suited for the Middle Eastern climate and aesthetic.
Precision Production & Massive Scale
Meeting the demands of a project of this scale requires meticulous planning and production. Mekmar successfully manufactured and securely packed over 4,300 square meters of high-quality travertine in various dimensions:
- 30x60x2 cm: 995 m²
- 30x30x2 cm: 240 m²
- 40x40x2 cm: 2,360 m²
- 40x40x3 cm: 735 m²
Specialized Pool Solutions: Filled & Honed Surface
Beyond standard flooring, the SYD Project features custom-engineered pool copings. Using the same Classic Cross Cut Travertine, Mekmar produced various-sized copings with different edge profiles to ensure a seamless transition from the deck to the water. The Filled & Honed surface finish was specifically chosen for these areas to provide a smooth, matte touch that is both practical and luxurious.
