Exterior Innovation: Resin Filled & Polished Facade
While most facades utilize honed or brushed finishes, the Meabad Project opted for the ultimate in luxury: Resin Filled & Polished Classic Vein Cut Travertine.
- The Selection: 150 m² of premium vein-cut travertine.
- The Finish: The resin filling creates a perfectly smooth, poreless surface, while the high-gloss polish reflects the Bahraini sun, giving the villa a luminous, jewel-like appearance.
- Format: 30x60x2 cm tiles were used to create a crisp, modular pattern that emphasizes the stone's linear "vein-cut" grain.
Interior Strength: Custom-Engineered Stairs
The transition from the grand exterior to the interior is marked by structural excellence. To handle the demands of a high-traffic villa while maintaining the design language, Mekmar supplied:
- Robust Thickness: 3 cm thick travertine for the interior stairs, risers, and landing areas.
- Custom Fabrication: We produced 75 m² across 22 different custom sizes to ensure every step and corner was a perfect architectural fit.
- Continuity: The use of the same Classic Travertine throughout the project ensures a seamless flow between the exterior facade and the internal structural elements.

The Meabad Project required specialized handling, particularly for the Resin Filled tiles, which must be transported with extreme care to protect their polished surface. Mekmar managed the entire lifecycle—from the meticulous resin application in our factory to the final delivery in Bahrain—ensuring the materials arrived in pristine condition.
